Brandi Jackson grew up playing junior golf in the Anderson, SC area. After graduating from Palmetto High School, she went on to earn a full academic/athletic scholarship at Furman University. During her college career, she won the 2002 Southern Conference Championship and the 2003 NCAA East Regionals. In 2003 she was named Southern Conference Player of the Year and was selected to the NGCA All American Second Team.
Outside of her Furman career, she won the South Carolina Women's Match Play Championship in 1999 and 2000 and was chosen as the Carolina's Golf Association Player of the Year. Her most memorable experience as an amateur was finishing Runner Up at the 2002 US Women's Amateur.
Brandi graduated from Furman with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. From her finish at the US Women's Amateur, she earned an exemption to the 2003 US Women's Open. Following the US Women's Open, Brandi turned professional and competed on the remainder of the Futures Tour schedule. That October she attended LPGA Qualifying School where she earned full LPGA status for the 2004 season. She returned to the Futures Tour in 2005, where she finished 11th in 2007 and 7th in 2008 on the year end money list. She earned her way back to the LPGA tour in 2008 and 2009. Brandi joined a national college recruiting company in the fall of 2009 as a Recruiting Expert Speaker. She traveled all over the country speaking at high schools and golf tournaments to families about the college recruiting process. In 2010, she took on the position as a Head Recruiting Coach to work one on one with the 600+ golf recruits enrolled in programs. She assisted them with coach communications, realistic expectations, time management, NCAA regulations and most importantly, finding the right college fit. In conjunction, Brandi worked with college coaches at all division levels to help them fill their rosters and find recruits who matched their program. Upon realizing how much the families could benefit from more personal and individualized attention, she decided to leave the company in April, 2011.
In May of 2011, Brandi founded her own high performance coaching and college recruiting consulting business, Brandi Jackson Golf. She works directly with families to consult them throughout the college recruiting process; providing guidance on all aspects of college recruiting while coaching them on how to be a complete golfer. Junior golfers are more educate on how to choose the right college fit and become more aware of what it takes to compete at the college level.
