This week wraps up the college golf season for the women. I hope you all took the time to follow the results and maybe even watched the coverage on the Golf Channel of the DI National Championships.

If you didn’t keep up here are some highlights from what took place over the past week.

One of the best ways to connect with a college coach is to keep up with what the team has going on. You can follow their social media and keep track through Golfweek and Golfstat. So for a little insight here is what has been happening in the college golf world.

  • Barry University took home the women’s DII National Championship by just a single stroke margin over Dallas Baptist University. The Barry team carded a 4 day total of 1,222 which is a team average of 76.375.
  • After a rough few days of weather in the Chicago area, the DI Women’s National Championship was able to declare its winner. Arizona State defeated Northwestern with a 3.5 to 1.5 victory in their 5 matches. This championship brought out the toughest and grittiest competitors as they battled some of the toughest conditions ever seen in college golf.
  • The NAIA National Championships wrapped up their play as well, you can see those final scores here.
  • You can find the live scoring for the DI, DII, NAIA and JuCo championships here at this LINK.

It is so important to follow and keep up with what is going on in the college golf world and the teams you are interested in. This is what you are working towards doing in the next couple of years so a coach is expecting you to have some interest before you get there.
