Many times you may get to the first tee of a tournament round and be nervous and anxious to play. The last thing you want to worry about are the tedious things you could have done before you stepped onto the first tee. Here are 6 key tasks to remember to do before you get to the first tee so that you don’t forget and try to do them when you should be focused on starting your round. Through my 28+ years of playing golf, I have certainly seen golf fashion change drastically over time, especially for females. As junior golfers, we did not have many options for cute clothing on the golf course. I can remember wearing long Duck Head shorts and baggy collared shirts for most of my childhood. A very important, proactive step in the college recruiting process is to schedule unofficial visits as early as possible. The days of official visits are almost over now that recruiting starts so early. You must be assertive and take the initiative to try and set up visits early in the process.
