I had a dream when I was 8 years old that I wanted to play on the LPGA Tour and I am beyond grateful and proud of the fact that I can say I achieved my dream. The problem is I never thought to readjust that dream as my golf career progressed and create an even bigger dream. I may have thought it in my mind but eventually, I grew to a state of just wishing it would happen for me. Finish in top 10 Win a tourney Finish top 30 on the money list Make Solheim Cup Rookie of the Year Play in Evian and British Open Etc... This is an assignment that I can not emphasize the importance of enough, go watch college golf tournaments. The spring season is getting underway this week and there are some great opportunities to plan a trip to a college golf tournament. If you are in the midst of the process and talking with several coaches then you need to go watch them "in action". It is one thing to sit across the desk from a coach and ask questions, maybe even chat by phone and get to know each other, but you MUST get a better feel for how they are when they are coaching during a tournament.
