Why should you get an evaluation as the first step of the process?
There is a lot of information out there and many times it can be misleading or misunderstood. The process is very specific to each individual player so it is extremely helpful to get started by knowing how the process will match up to your own goals and expectations! This is not a one size fits all type of process. This is also not a process that can be taken lightly if you want to ensure you find a good college golf fit.
So it is highly recommended to start out the process with an evaluation (or at least in-depth consultation) from a qualified, unbiased, 3rd party who understands junior girls golf, women’s college golf, and the girls college recruiting process. This will provide a much better outline for navigating each step of the process so that you don’t waste a lot of time and energy.
The evaluation process will provide feedback on how your current abilities, maturity, development, and course management fall in line with your goals and expectation of the process and the timeline for your graduation year. You will also have a much better understanding of the steps of the actual process from building your resume to researching college programs to taking visits.
Goals and expectations can easily change throughout this process but starting out with the knowledge and information of the process that is more specific to where you are with your game, academics, maturity, and development will aleviate some of the stress and anxiety for tackling this process that for so many seems daunting and consfusing.
As part of the RecruitPKB Complete Player evaluation you also receive a full length on course recruiting video, a year membership to the PING College Golf Guide plus access to the Golf Recruiting Advantage online course.
