Dear PKBGT Girls and Parents,
Many of you may have read an article about college recruiting in the weekly newsletter, hopped on a webinar, or have seen some of the RecruitPKB signage out at events, well I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and share some big things we have happening this year.
I am Brandi Jackson and after a collegiate career at Furman University, followed by an 8 year professional golf career, I founded Brandi Jackson Golf in 2011. Then in 2013, I partnered with the PKBGT to create RecruitPKB, followed by the transition of Brandi Jackson Golf as a “junior girls only” business in 2017.
Our goal with creating this partnership was to ensure the young ladies of the PKBGT had a resource for education and guidance on their journey to play college golf. For over 10 years that partnership has evolved and developed with the immense growth of both PKBGT and Brandi Jackson Golf and the feedback from you all as players and parents. And to this day we are still focused on that goal and ready to do even more to help you out.
We will continue to offer PKBGT National Members a one time free 30 minute “Intro to College Recruiting” consultation to provide a general outline of the college recruiting process specific to your graduation year. If you would like to book yours please take a few mins to fill out the Online Questionnaire then I will send over a link to schedule a time for you. You will also continue to see RecruitPKB on site experiences plus virtual webinars, along with the weekly RecruitPKB articles.
You will also a see new face for Brandi Jackson Golf and RecruitPKB as Gracyn Burgess joins the team to provide a fresh new addition the mission we have here. Gracyn will graduate from Clemson University this spring with an undergraduate degree in Sports Communications and a graduate degree in Athletic Leadership, while competing on the women’s golf team. Gracyn will be Director of Prep Programs for Brandi Jackson Golf and RecruitPKB.
This addition of Gracyn to the team weill bring several new opportunities for camps and evaluations for those young ladies seeking guidance on early stages of competitive junior golf and the college recruiting process. We will be announcing those dates and options soon. In the meantime, if you see Graycn out please welcome her to the team.
If you are a current 2024 or 2025 recruit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly to see if there is a good fit for you within a program or service that will help get you on the right track to playing college golf.
As always, keep working hard, stay humble, be kind, and be great!
Sincerely,
Brandi Jackson
