RecruitPKB: Scheduling Visits

A very important, proactive step in the college recruiting process is to schedule unofficial visits as early as possible. The days of official visits are almost over now that recruiting starts so early. You must be assertive and take the initiative to try and set up visits early in the process. Visits will not only give you an opportunity to meet with a coach but they also help you begin to figure out what you want in a school and help to motivate you to work hard in order to reach the level it takes to play at those particular schools. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, holiday season, and a Happy New Year. I know I sure did! How many of you feel like the time you spend on the golf course (when it's not a tournament) can be a bit repetitive and often times not very productive? It's easy to run out and play 9 holes or maybe 18 and not really have much focus or accountability to what you are doing.
